Real estate cadaster
Czech public registry of real estate, managed by the Czech Office for Surveying. It contains parcel numbers, owners, easements, and liens. Before approving a mortgage, the bank checks the cadaster extract; after contract signing it registers its lien there. Lien registration usually takes 1–2 weeks.
