LTV — Loan to Value
LTVRatio of mortgage amount to property appraisal value, expressed as a percentage. ČNB sets a 80% limit for most applicants, 90% for applicants under 36, and 70% for investment mortgages (from April 2026). A higher LTV usually means a higher interest rate, since the bank bears more risk.
