Czech mortgage glossary

Co-ownership

Property owned by two or more people. Each co-owner has their share (e.g., 50/50 or 70/30). For a mortgage, this means the bank assesses the income of all co-applicants and all are liable for repayment. Co-ownership outside SJM works for buying with a parent, sibling, or unmarried partner.
