Investment mortgage
A mortgage on a property intended for rental, not own housing. From April 2026, stricter ČNB limits apply: maximum LTV 70% and DTI 7×. Banks usually require higher own funds and sometimes a higher interest rate. Some rental loans are formally taken as own-housing loans — which the ČNB monitors.
